Meet Russ Axelrod, a lifelong gambler, who according to ESPN’s Russillo and Kanell once bet and lost his dog on a game of dice. If that doesn’t speak of gambling degeneracy and sickness I don’t know what does. But Russ Axelrod has made ginormous headlines recently on his incredible gambling run.

It all started when the Green Bay Packers’ Quarterback Aaron Rodgers guaranteed the Packers would win out after starting out 4-6. Russ, upon hearing this guarantee from Rodgers, decided to start throwing $300 dollars on the money line for each ensuing game. The money started rolling in and Russ has been parlaying his earnings from each win with the next upcoming game.

Today, after Green Bay’s thrilling win over the Dallas Cowboys this past Sunday Axelrod’s ticket is worth over $28,000 at the Aria Sports Book in Las Vegas and again that started out at FUCKING $300 dollars. Any sane individual, degenerative gambler or not, would cash that ticket out right fucking now. At the very least HEDGE the bet and you will still be guaranteed to win 5 digits. Not Russ, Russ is parlaying the ticket for them to win it all, which will net him just under $80,000. A good gambling story doesn’t come around all the time and this one may be the best one yet.
